I had my buccal fat pad removed but only on the left side. It was said that the right side fat pad could not be found after searching inside my mouth. The doctor said he would give me a ‘stitch’ inside my mouth that would give the same result. I have never heard of this before - I am really worried about asymmetry now. Is this normal??
