My goal is to have fake looking boobs high and round. My surgeon suggested 560cc high profile implants over the muscle. Although sagging is inevitable, how long will my boobs stay perky and is there anything I can do to slow down the sagging process? I’m happy with the size and do not wish to go any smaller. Both the surgeons I consulted did not recommend under the muscle for me. I’m 20 and weight 160kg. Thank you.
Answer: Breasts Large round bowling balls on your chest will not stay perky but sag with time and thin your tissue. Long term, you will do better with smaller implants that fit your frame and tissue. Otherwise, your second surgery will probably include a lift. Large breasts sitting on your lap do not look good.

Answer: Wanting a fake look. How long will my boobs stay perky? (Photo) The length of time your boobs will stay perky after breast implants depends a great deal on the genetic content of the breasts, the structure of the tissue itself, and the elasticity of the skin. Routine follow-ups with your board certified plastic surgeon is recommended to monitor those aspect of implant sagginess. Pregnancy, hormones, normal aging, and smoking are the major factors you should be concerned about affecting your perky boobs.

Answer: Wanting a fake look. How long will my boobs stay perky? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately the timing/duration of any surgical result is impossible to know as it depends on a myriad of factors. Certainly a very large implant can cause sagging to take place faster due to their weight but no one can tell you when. Hope this helps.

Answer: Breast implant sizing Thank you for your question. While it’s difficult to comment without your pix, in general I like cohesive gel implants over the muscle (Allergan SC) the profile would depend on your dimensions. Best to have a virtual consultation for precise recommendations.

Answer: BA candidate Dear kokoambra, I almost always place implants submuscular. It lowers the rate of capsular contracture significantly. In addition, it looks much more natural because the muscle provides covering over the implant so its not as round on the top. I've also noticed the implants drop less over time when they are protected under the muscle.Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
