Sculptra butt lift and augmentation was frowned upon just 2 years ago and is starting to become increasingly popular because it is the only safe injectable filler that can produce notacable volume increase in the buttocks at an affordable price vs. HA fillers. Sculptra typically lasts more than 2 years with touch up needed every 18 to 24 months. So who is an ideal candidate for the Sculptra Butt Lift?1. Not a candidate for a Brazilian (fat) Butt Lift because you don't have enough donor fat. This is extremely common and the only other alternative is buttock implants which may not be as natural and has its risks.2. If you don't want the added downtime and cost of a Brazilan Butt LiftSo what is the cost? Most patients need 10 vials per treatment (5 on each side) and 2 treatments. Each treamtent would cost about $ 4500 to 5000 depending on your geography. The cost of the Sculptra alone for each procedure is 3500. In summary, because of the expense of a Sculptra Butt Lift, I would encourage you to have fat transfer unless you are not a candidate for it or down't want to have the downtime of surgery.
Thanks for the question. A Sculptra Butt Lift uses numerous vials of sculptra per session. Prices can range from $4000-$8000 per session. I usually recommend 10 vials per side for each session. Results last up to 2-3 years.
In the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, fat is taken from the waist, hips, back and thighs and added to the buttocks. What is important to consider is that about 50% of the improvement in BBL comes from removing fat from those areas that are adjacent to the buttocks (waist, hips, thighs), making the bottom appear larger and more shapely. Sculptra is usually recommended only for those patients that lack sufficient fat for a BLL procedure and are opposed to surgical implants. It is extremely difficult to get a similar visual change in contour with Sculptra alone and no liposuction. It take 5-10 vials of Sculptra and a minimum of 2-3 treatments to make a noticeable difference in the shape of the buttocks and the results only last about 2 years. Average cost of a single treatment is about $3000-$6000. There are a few upsides to Sculptra. It is easy to use, there are few complications, and it does give a subtle boost to volume and smooths the texture of the skin. It can be a good treatment for the patient that is not looking for a large change in volume.
Sculptra can improve the buttocks. The buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Cost will vary. Don't let distance dissuade you, I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
The best way to find an accurate price for your Sculptra® butt lift would be to be contact a cosmetic surgeon’s office near you and schedule a consultation. As for whether or not it’s worth it, that will depend on your goals. Sculptra® can offer excellent results if you’re looking for a subtle boost of volume and a smoother texture in the butt area, but it won’t produce the same dramatic results as a surgical procedure would. If you’re considering a Sculptra® butt lift, talk with an experienced cosmetic surgeon to help you decide if this is the right procedure for you.
Sculptra is a fantastic product to add volume to the face. Its use on other areas is a big debate. First of all, it is not approved for areas other than the face. This must be told to the patient. Second, an average amount to increase the face volume on an average person is anywhere from 3-6+ vials. If you extrapolate this onto the buttocks, it can mean a large amount of product to increase the volume of the buttock cheeks. This number can range from 6-10 vials just to cover the required real estate. Add on to this the need for multiple treatment injections, and the total number of vials can be anywhere from 20-30 vials. If the area in question is a small depression due to cellulite or to improve symmetry, then I believe Sculptra is an appropriate product. If the desired goal is the enlarge the buttocks, then a surgical option is probably the better choice.
Sculptra is an effective method to nonsurgically enhance the buttocks. Sculptra is a safe, FDA-approved dermal filler composed of poly-L-lactic acid, complex polysaccharides (sugar). In addition, Sculptra can also be used to lift facial skin, fill the hollowness of the face due to aging, fill in fine lines and wrinkles, tighten loose skin on the neck, smooth cellulite and skin dimpling, as well as promote collagen production in the areas injected. Sculptra will not only increase volume in the desired area, but will also allow your body to produce fresh collagen on its own which results in a long lasting effect. Several vials will be required in order to see desired results, depending on the patient. Cost can vary based on the number of vials used, skill of the injector, and location of practice.
Thank you for your question. Depending on your cosmetic goal and desired results Sculptra can be used to add volume in the buttocks. Unlike other dermal fillers, Sculptra helps your body produce collagen over time and add volume to desired areas. Price varies based on your cosmetic needs and the area you reside in. Please make sure you get a formal evaluation from a specialist who has experience in this type of procedure and the appropriate board certifications.
Thank you for your question. The cost of a Sculptra Butt Lift is going to vary from one part of the country to another. In St Louis, MO the cost ranges from as little as $4000 to $14,000 depending on the number of vials. We have seen very good results with as little as 10 vials while other patients have required as many as 40 vials. This is an excellent procedure for patients who have insufficient fat for a BBL. Most of the patients we have treated have been quite athletic and trim including a body builder and college volleyball player. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore
I encourage you NOT to get Sculptra in your buttocks. It is not going to give you enough volume to make any difference, and it is an expensive product. Best case scenario, you will spend thousands of dollars, and see nothing for your money. You will be far better served having an implant done by a board certified plastic surgeon.
