Hi @dmrus! Based on your photos, you do have filler migration above the vermillion border of the upper lip. I would recommend dissolving your lips with Hylenex and starting with a fresh canvas. In addition, I would recommend using a different hyaluronic acid dermal filler. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

In our experience, dermal fillers may not migrate. Since you have a history of many treatments, this could be overcorrection. Temporary fillers may lead to permanent results, especially when multiple procedures have been performed. Thank you. Dr Joseph

This is where the artistry is very important. There are techniques to prevent this from happening. You just have to find an injector who has enough experience to recognize your particular anatomy and inject in a way that will not cause this undesired effect.

Hi,Mostly, if your injector does not have enough experience with lip filler and the product is placed more above the soft tissue. It can appear as duck lips. Or as you mentioned that you have tried different providers and still had similar results, some questions come in mind: how many syringes do you ? If your natural lips have enough body and fillers are injected, there is a possibility it will migrate because there is not enough space for the products to settle. Or you can have the filler dissolve again and try other lip enhancement treatme too like Botox lip flip or PDO threads or you could do both for beautiful lips.
