I just received my 3rd Morpheus8 treatment four days ago for fine lines and wrinkles and it is definitely worth the cost and the journey. I am an impulse person who likes to see results immediately. Prior to the Morpheus 8 treatments I opted for fillers and xeomin rather than building new collagen and rejuvenating my skin. Each treatment entailed numbing, 3 passes with the handheld device at different levels, and then a mask to cool the face and neck and pump in some nutrients. I didn't find the procedure to uncomfortable and the down time was minimal. My face was red (like a sunburn) for about 24 hours and then a bit dry for a couple of days afterwards. After a couple of weeks after each the 1st and 2nd treatment I could see results. This is a 5 star treatment and would definitely recommend it. I have seen such great results that I will be adding this to my list of semi-annual must do's.
This can be frustrating especially when you know you working on the problem. Nevertheless, you should not give up, you can certainly do combination therapy to promote collage production under the eyes. PDO Thread with HIFU or ultherapy or Morpheus8 either combination can help improve under the eye skin.In addition you want to make sure you apply twice a day under eye cream; best one I recommend is Neocutis lumiere. Be sure to used daily sunscreen greater than 30spf as well to protect the skin.
Hi, congratulations on quitting smoking and taking care of your skin, it will all help improve your skin and overall health. I review your pic and I did see the mild jowls. I won’t start fillers or neurotoxins as the first quicker approach. Rather, invest in collagen stimulation therapies such as ultherapy, PDO, Morpheus8 or chemical peels such TCAs to help promote tightening. Be sure your skin care product is pharmaceutical grade, I recommend neocutis, Jan Marini or Is clinical anti-aging and skin tightening products. Continue to use spf be sure it’s above 30. By following the above recommendation you may have time to push back neurotoxins and dermal fillers till your late 30’s to 40’s.
Sometimes threads present post insertion complications such as indentation/dimpling, with time it resolves on it own. Question is how long ago was the threads placed? The indentation/dimpling you see will resolve on its own, but if it bothers you that much, ask your provider if they have radio frequency, they can apply the RF heat for coupleof visits and it will soften out the dimpling. Or you can ask for Morpheus8 for brow area and it will help resolve the problem. I will not attempt filler at the problem site, it should not be the first attempt, any treatment with good radio frequency should help. On the other hand, you may loose the lift, since the RF heat will dissolve the thread quicker than expected. I have been doing threads for sometime now and I never had to remove any threads. Will I say every patient expectation or satisfaction was the same, no! However, 9/10 when my patients follow post care instructions, they always turn out to love the results. I advise if the threads were recently placed, give it up to a few more weeks and the dimpling will resolve. Other wise, the thread insertion site won’t change and since you wanted the tail of the brow lifted instead of your arch, if you just don’t like it and want the threads remove or dissolve quicker, ask for radio frequency treatment, I will advise don’t remove it just dissolve it and enjoy the collagen stimulation.
You can always start with nonInvasive treatments for some correction and that also buys you time from surgical treatments. Ultherapy brow lift, PDO threads brow lift and neurotoxins like Botox or Xeomin are all non invasive approach you can try, then you may consider surgery in the future if needed.
Hi, Fillers are great for filling creases. You could get hyaluronic acid base dermal filler one syringe to help fix the creases, depending on your geographical area you could spend $500-1000. It can last for about 9-12months, but combination therapy with PDO threads at the concern area will last long (2yrs) you should be looking about spending close to a $1200+ for filler and PDO threads if you choose to get combination therapy!
