I recently went in for a consultation and, after seeing my wish pics, the PS suggested a 560cc implant. I like the way it looks with the 3D imaging. Given that my bwd is 13, is it safe for me to go that big? Or do you recommend a different sized implant? I’m 20, 164cm tall and weight 60kg.
Answer: 560cc on my frame? (Photo) A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone cc sizers (starting with 560cc) your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision.

Answer: Size You have chosen a large heavy implant that may be too heavy for your tissue and frame. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and actually trying on this size so you can feel the weight. This size is also a little out of proportion for your frame. You might want to consider going done least 100 cc's for a better fit that will look good for many years.

Answer: 560cc on my frame? Hi there, thank you for your question. The most accurate answer can be given by measuring your chest and breast width about choosing a right size of implant. But, according to your height, I suggest you to have 400-450 cc implants to get used to it first and if you still want to go bigger, then you can try above 500 cc.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear kokoambra, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Size Selection Good afternoon! I do not think this is too large for you, but I also wouldn't expect to look exactly like that 3D image- those are really just a marketing tool to get you to sign up for surgery, and often have very little resemblance to how you actually look after surgery. I know I know, I'll get a bunch of heat from the high tech marketers out there, but I've been doing this for 20 years, I perform over 500 augmentations a year, and I know that truth in sizing rests in actually measuring a patient's chest, sitting down with them and actually reviewing before and after photos of real patients of similar height and weight, and finally by having you try on the implant sizers with several different tops here in the office. That time we spend together is key to my recommendation to you and key to your success in selecting the proper implant size and profile to meet your expectations. A consultant and a computer screen are easy to buy if you're new in practice or don't perform many augmentations, but they also aren't the way to go if you want consistently happy patients who then sing your praises and send you their friends and family- I actually prefer to spend time with you personally!
