I’m a young male (22) and noticed that no matter how low my body fat is, my chin and jaw never seem to be as defined as I would like. My chin seems to slant downward, as well as connect to my neck, and my jawline itself is very weak and not defined. What procedures can help? Thanks in advance.

Answer: Options To Enhance Chin And Jawline Hi and Thanks for the question. In general, there are several options that are available for the enhancement of a "weak" or recessed chin. One such option would be the placement of a chin implant which could be done through an incision either underneath the chin or inside of the mouth. Another option would be orthognathic surgery where the jaw bones are advanced forward to create a more prominent jawline and chin. As to which option is best for you, I recommend that you consult with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced with this procedure in your area to better determine what makes the most sense for you. Best of Luck!
