What can I do about feeling the chin implant wing? (Photo)

I can feel it riding just under the back molars of my mouth on one side? Chin implant operation done 3 weeks ago, submental, size large. The right side of my lower lip and chin are still numb. The left side feels completely normal, and it feels like the wing of the implant is in a proper position (can't feel in my gums or mouth at all). But on my numb side, I can feel something hard and bony all the way near my teeth. I saw my PS 2 days ago, he said it was my own bone because the wings of the implant are not long enough to go all the way back there. Is this normal?
