I am a 19 year old male,I have a big forehead since childhood but recently for 2-3 years I am seeing hair loss in my hairline and hairs above my ears on both sides.I have thin hairs and sometimes i have flaky scalp too and also my dad is bald from the front portion, his hairline now starts from middle of his head(from backside of ears).

This is a genetic type hair loss and the final result may be your father's in future. When you are worry about shape of your hair and it affect your psychology , you may have a hair restoration surgery .

You need to see a physician specializing in hair loss. The hair loss at the front is most likely genetic hair loss or traction alopecia. The hair loss at the sides is certainly not due to genetic hair loss but can often be due to traction alopecia as well as a range of autoimmune conditions.
