My permanent crown (front side tooth) fell off when I bit into a granola bar. There has been no discomfort before this incident and very little after. This happened on the week-end. This crown has been in place for 35+ years. The gum area has a "post" that the crown was attached to. I have relocated across the USA and will not be able to return to the dentist who installed this many years ago....I am concerned that a new dentist will simply tell me I need a new crown. Help! Thank you....
