I had an appointment with my PS but he had to cancel. I clean it twice a day with soap and water and cover with aquaphor and a nonstick dressing. I am 12 weeks post op breast reduction, H to a small C

It is generally advicsed to wear your bra for six weeks post op. After that you can go without a bra. However you should not expose the scars to sunlight for twelve months as they can darken.

1 week post op breast reduction, is it normal to feel very achy and fatigued? Only taking 600mg ibuprofen every 6 hours.

Thank you very much for your question and congratulations on your recent breast reaction procedure. It is normal to feel tired and sore after any major surgery, including a mastopexy. You are only one week out from surgery, which is early in the healing process. The discomfort will slowly fade...

Thank you for your question!  Assuming your incisions have fully healed, you should begin a scar treatment whether it's cream or tape.  Silicone based treatments are best for fading scars.  In my practice I recommend a silicone based scar cream called Biocornium.  With this cream you allow it t...
