Thanks for your inquiry.  You had a submuscular site change which is changing the implants position and you had teardrop implants and thus you have a very unique situation.  DO NOT take advise except from your surgeon about massage as you could risk implant rotation and malposition.  

Thank you for your question.  Many of my patients ask this question.  There is no proof that shows massaging helps prevent capsular contracture or to soften the implant.  It doesn't hurt to massage if it feels better with regard to soreness/tightness.
