I am 27 years old. Hairloss started 5 years ago when i was long term under stress. Got a rapidly receding hairline, accompanied with redness and itching scalp. Felt much tingling and the sense of one pulling on my hair, right before it would fall out. I saw 2 derms which both said Androgenetic Alopecia probably combined with Seboirrheic Dermatitis. Since few years on 1mg Propecia, Nizoral, Tar shampoo, Butavate (tried many others). Itch is mostly gone, but redness and thinning continues. Thanks!

Something to keep in mind is that the large majority of patients who take Finasteride don't report any side effects, and of those that do, virtually all of those side effects go away when they stop taking it. In general I'd recommend against starting it unless you are beginning to see your hair...
These conditions can be treated with topical medications containing lactic or salicylic acid. The best course of action to determine if they are causing any loss would be to seek a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment and express these concerns to them, if you have not already done so.
It’s always important to tell your physician all the information including the medicine that you have recently taken or are currently taking, otherwise they won't have all the facts to better serve you.
