I've been on finasteride for almost 4 months now after my hair thinned a lot over the last couple of years. (photos)

I first noticed my hair falling out about 3 years ago after a personal trainer told me to take excessive amounts of vitamin D. When I stopped vitamin D losses really slowed but things have sped up again since starting finasteride. I've read online that this is a good sign as it proves it's working, is this so even after 4 months and should I persevere or does finasteride have a negative affect on some people, if so should I stop the medication?
