Question

2/3 weeks after my 4th laser treatment these round marks appeared in the exact same spot on both my armpits. They are very round and quite red marks, there was some visible sensitivity (a little bit of peeling) but aside from what I can see, I don’t feel any pain or soreness. I went to the laser clinic and they claimed they have never seen anything like this after laser hair removal. Any thoughts on what this might be?

The picture looks a bit blurry on my end but from what I can tell there seem to be red circular splotches in the armpit area.  My first instinct when looking is that it could be tinea, or a fungal infection, that may or may not have anything to do with the laser treatment.  I could be wrong but I would go to your regular doctor and have them take a look.  They can do a skin scrapping and look under the microscope to help make the diagnosis.
