Red marks on edges of armpits after laser hair removal? Clinic claim they have never seen anything like this before. (photo)

The picture looks a bit blurry on my end but from what I can tell there seem to be red circular splotches in the armpit area.  My first instinct when looking is that it could be tinea, or a fungal infection, that may or may not have anything to do with the laser treatment.  I could be wrong but I would go to your regular doctor and have them take a look.  They can do a skin scrapping and look under the microscope to help make the diagnosis.
