  It is unusual to have this degree of pain and redness after an Obagi Blue peel.  It is possible that your doctor went deeper than normally done with this procedure OR it is possible that you could have an infection.  it would be wise to check with your doctor to be certain.  good luck!

After performing the Deep Blue Peel a number of times, this is what is usually expected:

is 10 (ten) days on the average

following may be experienced:

Swelling
of variable degree, lasting 3 - 4 days

o     
Surface
skin may resemble a dark mask

o     
The mask
starts to peel 3 - 4 days following the peel

Scabbing
may occur in certain areas and will require treatment with Post Recovery Kit. Notable
facial tightness will be experienced. Skin may feel rough or uncomfortable if

Usual to have pain.... you do need to see your Specialist to have a formal evaluation to exclude cause such as infection, or even contact dermatitis (usually itchy).
