Side effects of drinking alchohol on my hair transplant? 2 months post op.

Binge drinking is bad for you body.  You can infer that it would also be bad for your newly transplanted grafts.  However there are no studies that can prove this.Results take 6 to 12 months to appreciate.

At this point alcohol consumption will not interfere with the growth of grafts however "binge" drinking can be harmful to your overall health.

Hello, Thank you for your question. First of all, you will see your full result 1 year after transplantation. Transplanted grafts has just started to grow and thicken between 4-6 months but they are more visible after 8 months.  2nd month after the operation is very early to make any comments.Drinking alcohol after 2 month wont effect to grafts. But patients should not drink or smoke before 2nd week.

Do whatever you find is acceptable at 2 months as the hair transplant should be secure and not imacted by the oral intake of alcohol.
