If you are considering a cosmetic surgery it would be in your interest to see a doctor for an examination.   Your doctor can tell you if it is "ok" to have the surgery (after an examination).

Temple hairs may be finer and thinner than hair on the back of your scalp.  The rate of growth may be slightly different as well.

At just 5 months after hair transplant, not seeing much growth in one area is not concerning. Growth can continue 12 to 18 months after surgery.
