At 8 weeks, it really is too soon to tell and while I do appreciate the lumps, give it time to settle and see what happens. The healing will occur over the next few months and your surgeon may suggest massage or something of that nature to the area to help it settle quicker. By 6m reevaluate the appearance and go from there.

I would have patience at the present time. I think the swelling will improve with time as you are only 8 weeks out. You have had a platysmaplasty along with a facelift. Regular massage will help with this and time. You should contact your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Wishing you well.

I'm sorry you are not happy. From your photos I can appreciate the bumps you describe, however, you are only 8 weeks out from surgery and still very much in the healing phase. It is too early to predict exactly how your final results will look. When you are closer to 6 months out the decision can then be made what to do. In the meantime I would discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and see if there is any type of massage or compressive treatments they would like you to do.

You have had more than a lower macs lift and lipo as there is an anterior neck incision and likely platysmaplasty +/- surgery to the submandibular glands?. You need some advice on massage and deep lymphatic massage. A lot of this will settle but you need advice on scar management and massage at this time. If it is getting worse an USS can help to determine whether there is any underlying issues.
