I am struggling to understand about the Macs Lift. The long thread is under the skin(loop thread), Is it permanently under the skin? What kind of thread they use? What if after few years, the skin is getting thinner therefore the thread will be visible under the skin. I am not sure about thread itself, is it permanent thread or dissolve thread under the skin? Does the soft tissue make thicker and lift to make look fuller after pull the soft tissue with thread?
I had a macslift almost 8 months ago, immediately after surgery I had jaw pain and couldnt open mouth for a week, whenever I would chew my masseter throbbed. Also I had pressure headaches in my temporal area and temporal scalp pain on the same side as my jaw tightness/ pain. Could the suspension sutures be causing this? Are they too tight or in the wrong position? Will this go away or how can it be fixed?
I'm planning to get a MACS facelift and according to my surgeon, it is a major operation and invasive and is requiring me to stay put for at least 10days. However, when I search online, it's not really how she described it to be. Also, I want to have abdominal lipo and tummy tuck and she said not safe and could result to blood lost. Can someone please explain to me in detail why can or can't this be done? I'm disappointed she hasn't really addressed much of it.. And thanks so much in advance!
I'm not at 10 weeks after surgery..but I still don't see the result as discussed with the doctor. There are uneven areas in the cheeks at the front , the skin is showing uneven structure..will this all change in the next coming months. When can you see the final shape and result ??? The real result...
Hello I was wondering what doctors thought about the comprehensive pre-and post vitamin care before a facelift or any cosmetic surgery procedures. It states that it will help with bruising swelling and help promote tissue growth.??
I had a MACS facelift done Jan. 6, 2022. 7 months later I noticed 3 bumps down the side of my face. I just met with my doctor who told me there wasn't anything he could do and that this was acceptable. He wanted me to get a 2nd opinion so that I could hear from another doctor that this was totally a good job and that it's not noticeable. So I called and can't get into see anyone for months so I'm trying here to see what others who have done this procedure thinks.
8 weeks ago, I went to the clinic for My macs lift and liposuction under chin. the results looks great for two weeks. After four weeks there appeared an inflammation under my skin.(see picture) I got antibiotica for 7 days, but 2 weeks later the inflammation was back.(again antibiotica ) I am so sad About the bumps under My chin. My ps said we must give it time to heal, and maybe a correction (little lipo again under the chin) afterwards. Is it possible this bumps are still fluid? Or do I have to worry?
I had a Macs Facelift 5 days ago to address sagging jowls. Now I have these horrible ridges and bumps under the skin. I can actually feel the sutures under the skin and see the direction they were attached. My skin is pulled unnaturally tight to my ear and it hurts to even open my mouth. My doctor says the ridges are normal and will resolve in 2 months. Is this normal or should I have the internal sutures cut and do a revision facelift at a later date?
