Nervous to go ahead with microneedling after all the bad reviews on here - advice required

All aesthetic procedures have some risks.  However, microneedling, when done by trained aestheticians working under a physician, is a very safe and effective treatment.  Studies have shown that combining it with PRP and/or Red Light improves the results and speeds up the healing time.  As long as you are going to a reputable facility that has a physician who specializes in aesthetic medicine on site, then you should be fine.

Hi aark,I'm sorry to hear that you are nervous about microneedling. It is truly such a fantstic procedure that treats many problems, and can be used in areas that other procedures cannot treat. We do multiple microneedlings a day at our medical spa and I can personally say that I have never had anyone come back with concerns of seeing more wrinkles.Make sure when you are researching for a specialist that you find one that you trust. Make sure you are reading their reviews, seeing if they have a lot of before/after pictures, seeing if they have a social media presence. This will help with your nerves and give you the courage to try something new to help with your skin.Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. We use state of the art physician grade technology called Skin Pen II. The fine needles  of the device are used to minimally puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury.
