I purchased 6 sessions and have had the treatment every 5 weeks. I just had my 5th treatment and have had no reaction on my 4th and 5th treatments. I loved the first 3. I got pretty red and my face peeled pretty good but now nothing and I seen some results. When I questioned why I was not seeing redness or peeling, I was told that your skin toughens up.
Answer: Redness Thank you for your question. It does depend on the length of the needles as to how much of a reaction you get afterwards. Over the course of 6-12 weeks your skin should be improving, so having less of a reaction could be a sign of your skin thickening and recovering quicker.

Answer: Microneedling with little to no redness Hello, in some cases your skin may have a stronger barrier than when you first had your treatments. The depth of the needles is a key factor in the treatment and stimulating the collagen. Products also will have a key factor in your results. Vitamin A is a great way to stimulate the collagen and continue the stimulation along with growth factors. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Microneedling results--add prp and lasers Redness can be variable and doesn't indicate you won't have a good result. I do recommend adding prp and lasers to microneedling treatments to improve outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Microneedling for Skin Rejuvenation and Collagen Induction therapy Hello,Microneedling performed by physician can go as deep as 2.5mm. Depends on the runs over the area, depth as well as your skin type, the redness could vary.Microneedling although is a great natural treatment to improve skin collagen but nowadays we would combine with other modalities. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). PRP has growth factors, from your own blood, injected into your skin. Combining both treatments make it even better and more effective in skin rejuvenation and improving skin collagen. Depends on the needs, mostly I recommend once a year PRP+ microneedling but there are some may benefit more by doing 3 sessions every 6 months. All the BestRay Bayati, MDElite Medical AestheticsSacramento area, California

Answer: Microneedling The amount of redness and peeling that occurs after microneedling depends on the individual patient and the aggressiveness of the treatment, mainly the depth of the needle penetration and number of passes. In my experience, patients typically want minimal downtime so treatments are customized and skin is prepped prior to treatment with appropriate skin care for maximal benefits. If you are seeing continued improvement with your treatments, I would not be so concerned about the lack of downtime. However, you should discuss with your provider these concerns so that he/she may either alter microneedling parameters or add other treatment modalities.
