I had TT almost 8 months ago, I see many women much smaller above the belly button is puffier and I can still pinch skin especially when I sit. on may 29th I had revision lipo to my legs from Aug 2017 and paid to extend my TT incision. 3 months post-op and I can still pinch abdomen skin. I have a numbness feeling on my hips and they are bigger than before going in. I also think not much lipo was done .

Answer: TT and lipo revision: do I need a revision? Thank you for the question and pictures. It is very unusual for an "ideal outcome" to be achieved. Whether or not you should undergo revisionary surgery will mainly depend on your level of concern with your outcome as well as a careful consideration of the potential risks/complications associated with additional surgery. Exactly what operation would be indicated (if any) would depend on your specific concerns/goals; these concerns/goals are best communicated in front of a full-length mirror. Careful physical examination would allow for accurate diagnosis; exactly what is causing the "puffiness". Most commonly this prominence may be related to abdominal wall laxity and/or residual adipose tissue. Many women preferably the umbilicus to be smaller and more oval; if your umbliical shape/size is of concern, then revisionary surgery may be helpful. Communicate your concerns directly with your plastic surgeon, preferably in front of a full and there. Working together you will come up with good plan to proceed with. Best wishes.

Answer: Talk to your surgeon! To start, everyone, and I mean everyone, can pinch some stomach skin when they sit down. You have to have enough skin for your body to move appropriately!! I would discuss your concerns with the surgeon that performed your tummy tuck, as I assume they want you to have as good of a result as possible! AN open and honest discussion and evaluation will help you and your surgeon agree on a plan.
