I have what I've always called "cellulite" on the back of my thighs, despite being very fit and regularly doing weight training (squats, lunges, deadlifts, etc). As I've learned, what I have would be best described as linear/wavy "cellulite" or transverse skin lines rather than typical dimpled cellulite. When I pull up slightly on the skin the lines disappear; but they are very ugly to me and I won't even wear a regular bathing suit/shorts. Would Exilis, Thermage or other techniques help?

Answer: Cellulite Therapy Thank you for your question. You could ask ten doctors and get ten differing opinions! We have over twenty years experience with treating cellulite. I have seen trends come and go. Currently, we favor Radiofrequency as a non-surgical tissue tightener. Exillis is one brand of this. Results vary with many factors contributing. Another successful modality has been the Ultra-tone, or FuturaFit. This combines Ultrasound with electrical tissue stimulation to tighten tissue.See a surgeon who will go over options, be realistic and not make big promises as to results. Best wishes!

Answer: Thighs and Skin Tightening and Thermage I would encourage you to consult a physician who performs a lot of Thermage. Thermage has great results in tightening the skin through radiofrequency skin lightning and only needs a single treatment. For the best cosmetic results please consult an expert in Thermage. Best, Dr. Green
