I have a black mark on my nose from where my scab fell off. Will it go away, if so how do I need to leave it alone or use cream?

It is tough to answer your question well without a bit more information.  Why did you have a scab?  What type of injury did you have?  How long was the scab there?  What is the natural color of your skin?  Do you have a photograph?  I would recommend consultation with someone who has expertise in the treatment of scars and the use of lasers.  Best of luck.

It really depends how long it has been there but usually it will go away on its own.  If not you can have a quick laser treatment to remove it.

If you have dark spots, then please use spf at least 45 every day , 365 days a year. The sun will be trying to make your dark spot darker, even if you are not going to the beach!!Hydroquinone might make it look worse, if you get a light circle around your dark spot. Depending on your skin tone I would try to leave it alone except for the sun avoidance. PS don't ever pick off the scab. It is there for a reason!!Be Well,Dr Johnson
