What's the best way to remove keloids in my jawline?

Ive had these keloids in my jawline couple of years ago. Is there a way to remove it? Im tired of getting injections monthly. It does flatten them out however, after couple of weeks it grows back. Ive heard from a friend that accutane helps flatten out keloids.. is this true? please help! thank youu

As you have learned, Keloid scarring can be very difficult. In some people it is literally painfull. There are many options to try. One final option is to re-excise the scar and allow it to start healing, then injected with a combination of steroid and a medication called 5-FU. It can thin the skin and even lighten it, but there is a chance it can work. The key is to see someone specializing with scar treatments. James P.
