I am 5 days post first time TCA 30% Peel -- is peeling normal at this stage? (Photos)

Question

I had my first TCA 30% Peel on Monday at 2pm, and today is Friday... I’ve peels around my chin but no where else yet. My forehead had 4 passes and rest of my face 2-3. Is this normal to not see peeling at this point? Why haven’t I started to really peel yet? I am using the Zo Post Procesure Recover System with their foamaclense 2-3x daily as it describes. Thoughts??

for a 30% peel this looks very weak.  I suggest you get on more skin care including exfoliating cleansers and cosmelan 2 to decrease your risk of hyperpigmentation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It seems within a normal range. The degree of skin peeling varies a lot depending on skin type. The thicker the less. The dryer the more.  And the healing ointment that you use with the TCA peel. You can apply a little less amount of ZO system. You will see more peeling. Please talk to your provider first for more information.

All good from the photos, no side effects, good barrier function, I expected more of a reaction, however I can not comment on the procedure itself, only the results at day 5.
