.5% salicylic acid in moisturizer OK to use after TCA peel?

I just had a TCA peel today around 3:30 pm. I was told not to wash my face tonight, is that correct? Also I have a moisturizer that has .5% salycilic acid, is that safe to use?

TCA will remove a tattoo, and at 50% it will replace it with a scar. This scar can be excised and grafted. Not ideal, but this is reality. Nano and pico lasers should be used to remove tattoos, as the risk of scarring is minimal. The Fiori Institute of Skin and Body Brisbane. Australia.

No, not a good idea. I would space these peels to 4 weeks and only apply 2 coats in a non drip manner. Multi coating even at 5% can give severe pigmentation problems and scarring. Please be safe and take things easy. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.

100% TCA is a very serious procedure and should only be perfirmed by an experienced physician that would be a dermatologist or plastic surgeon
