Hi, I am 26F. I am hoping to achieve a more feminine/symmetrical look. My eye area specifically and nose crookedness bothers me. Could Botox help me?
Answer: Things you should know about dermal fillers Thank you for your question and for providing photos. While perfect symmetry is impossible to achieve, you may benefit from dermal fillers to increase volume and create a more symmetrical appearance. These injectable formulas add hyaluronic acid into the dermal structure to effectively support and restore volume. By adding volume to specific areas, a subtle lift can be provided where necessary to balance the facial features. Results from dermal filler injections can last for up to a year or more, depending on the formula used. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you to determine the best treatment option.

Answer: Facial Symmetry Hello, thanks for your question and photos. As you may know, the human face is not symmetrical at all. Everyone has differences between both sides of the face and body. Your face is feminine enough, and you don't need Botox. Maybe, you could get a Hyaluronic Acid treatment to shape your nose, but your "crooked" nose is imperceptible. Good luck!

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Asymmetry We are all asymmetrical to some degree and the amount of asymmetry you have is certainly within normal limits. Botox and fillers are commonly used to help improve asymmetry and facial balance. I encourage you to visit with an expert injector to discuss your concerns and learn more about these treatment options.

Answer: You have a feminine face! Perfect symmetry isn't human! An experienced injector may be able to help you achieve a "more symmetrical" look but as with all botox results; it will be a matter of time before it wears off. It's HUMAN to have a face that's unsymmetrical and if you chase that as a goal (perfection) you will begin to not look like yourself - sooner than later. I recommend researching surgical options because they are what's permanent. Also do research on "mewing" and how facial posture and the structure of one's mouth has inverse effects on the make-up of their entire face. For your nose, you have the semi-permanent option of a "Liquid Rhinoplasty" - nose filler. The nose is one of the most complicated areas to inject; for your own safety be sure your injector has tons of experience and tons of before and afters for you to go through. Ideally you'd want to find one or more (the more the better) before and afters of the injector "correcting" similar (the more similar the better) looks and achieving similar results as the one you desire.
