I am 25 and seeing wrinkles by my eyes, nose and mouth when smiling. So far, they are only dynamic wrinkles. Is it too early to start Botox? What other treatments can address this early? Would fraxel or clear and brillant work? Aqua gold facial?
Answer: Consider your options for treating fine lines Thank you for your question and photo. A conservative amount of Botox can diminish the appearance of dynamic wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. Though you aren’t necessarily too young to start Botox injections, you can also consider RF microneedling treatments to treat the lines you’re referring to. RF microneedling can reduce the appearance of fine lines on the face by creating micro-channels in the dermal layers and encouraging elastin and collagen production. While Botox injections will need to be readministered every 3-4 months, the results from RF microneedling can last many years for some patients. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector who can determine the best option for you.

Answer: Botox and Skincare Hi @tw1730! 25 is a great age to start Botox for dynamic wrinkles. I also recommend a skincare routine that incorporates Vitamin C and Retinol. I hope this was helpful!

Answer: Pre-emptive botox can prevent wrinkles Hi tw1730, People get Botox for different reasons. Patients in their 20s are often looking to preemptively prevent wrinkles before they start. Wrinkles form in response to repetitive creasing of the skin. In the crows feet region, which is where your pictures show, this is the result of the orbicularis oculi muscle. This sphincter muscle goes around the eye, and when it contracts it produces radial wrinkling. Botox can decrease the function of the lateral (outside) aspect of the orbicularis muscle, stopping the wrinkles from occurring with muscle activation, and as a consequence decreasing the likelihood the wrinkles will form on a long-term basis. In addition, the lateral or outside tail of your brow appears to sit low, and Botox can have the additional benefit of allowing the tail of your brow to float slightly upward. I would suggest meeting with board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the benefits of Botox to your crows feet. Hope this helps. Answer: Botox Botox it Is a wonderful option for improving wrinkles of the forehead/eyes and it can be very addictive because people love what they see. There are also many other options such as laser and chemical peels that can further improve the skin itself. Botox works by relaxing the muscles and usually needs to be repeated every 3 to 6 months. Surgery is another option but obviously more invasive and has scars.
I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of facelifts but also offers all the nonsurgical options such as Botox injectables and laser treatments. Go over your concerns with them and make sure you walk out of there with several options. I hope this helps! If it does, please take a moment to up vote this answer on the “respond” button on the top right.
