Considering nano fat under eyes , cheeks abs temples . Can vascular occlusion happen with nano fat if I choose a board certified plastic surgeon who does a lot of facelifts? What happens if you get occlusion with fat which cannot be dissolved?

Answer: Vascular occlusion Vascular occlusion can happen with any injection anywhere in the body. When this happens to an artery it will block the blood flow in the distribution of that artery. If there’s no collateral circulation than the tissue in that vascular distribution will die. There are good techniques surgeons can use to minimize the chance of this like injecting local anesthesia containing epinephrine vasoconstricting the area before the procedure and using a blunt cannulas.
