It is unlikely that the hanging earlobes will shrink down anytime soon.You probably will need a revision.
Dear Melkraft: How long ago was your surgery? Swelling in the first week to 10 days can make the lobes appear larger than the final result. Part of the healing process in our body involves wound contracture. It is difficult to see in the photos, but in the second picture it looks like there is redundant tissue hanging below the natural contour of the part of the ear known as the lobule. If this is the case, I would discuss it with your surgeon. A small revision to even out the contour would not be difficult if needed. Best of luck Dr S
