I washed the skin with antibiotic soap and water and pat to dry. Then covered the incision with a large bandage since I don't have any steri strips. I am having trouble finding them sold locally and won't be able to get any until Monday probably. I am 3 weeks and 2 days post op. My doctor wanted me to wear the strips for 4 weeks. What should I do with the incision? Should I reapply a steri stri as soon as I can? Will it be okay with a bandage in the meantime?

Answer: My steri strip was starting to smell and fall off the skin so I removed it. Does my incision look okay
Breast augmentation surgery is, in my opinion, the procedure where you can find the biggest fluctuations in cost.Be very cautious when selecting your Dr., make sure is Board certified, credentials of the facility, and most important, ask about the type and brand of implants you would be getting...
When you have heavy musculature the post op spasm and pain can last for a few weeks. You may need muscle relaxers more than pain medication for relief. Close followup with your surgeon. Donald R. Nunn MDAtlanta Plastic Surgeon.
It is perfectly safe to have a breast augmentation after having scoliosis surgery. I would recommend preoperative antibiotics before your surgery.Best of luck to you,
