My nose looks the same after rhinoplasty!:( What can I do? (photos)

Sorry to hear you are not seeing the results you had expected.  I do notice a bit of improvement from your pre-op photos but I understand you are expecting more.  Give it a few more months you should see continued improvement as swelling diminishes.

You need to be patient as it takes 6 to 12 months for the swelling to go down. It is impossible to determine what the nose will ultimately look like. . Discuss this with your surgeon at your next  postoperative visit.

If there is any concern, your should return to your surgeon for an assessment.The nose
can be swollen for up to a year or more. Swelling will depend upon the
nature of maneuvers employed, presence of grafts or implants, thickness

Be patient you are still swollen and the results may not show for a few months.  Contact your surgeon immediately to discuss your concerns.

I do understand your frustration as you have probably expected a lower profile.  Having said this there is definitely an improvement as compared to before surgery photos; moreover, this improvement is likely to progress even further as the swelling resolves. At this juncture you just need to be patient. If the bump persists and still bothersome after the healing took place (6months to a year), and you don't want another surgery, then you may consider a filler to the radix (root of the nose) area which will camouflage the bump.

Profile reduction in rhinoplasty can be challenging because the surgeon must anticipate future tip position, swelling, scar tissue formation, etc., and thick skin requires some overcorrection. That said, you are very early in your healing. Follow up with your surgeon as he is in the best position to advise you at this time.

It takes 3-6 months or more for all of the swelling to go down.  Sometimes, while it feels like a bump, it is actually just firm swelling in the area.  Try to be patient and hopefully things will improve, but it will likely take a while.
