I took my cast off 5 days ago.I didn't have big issues with my nose, just strong bone in the root. The doctor said he made the nose REALLY small, but as seen now he just made it a bit more concave. The root bone is still really strong & I was specific I wanted it broken down.I attached a photo with the nose now (right) & nose I wanted/asked for (left). Is there a chance it will shrink down to that size? Especially the bone area, how much can the bone be swollen after the surgery anyway?

An open roof is caused by separation of the nasal bones at the bridge. An inverted V is a depression at the junction of the lower border of the bones and the adjacent cartilages. Both can be present in the same patient. In fact, an open roof can cause the inverted V appearance.
Septorhinoplasty results in swelling in the oropharnyx which is the space in the back of your throat. The ear canals open up to the same area and cannot equilibrate well because of this swelling.
