I am a 21 yr old female, 162cm, 62kg and have 12E size breasts. They pull on my chest and make it very uncomfortable to do things, not to mention the mental ache it gives me. I would love to have a breast reduction and breast lift. What should I do?
Answer: Avoid vertical scar lifts and reductions There is a new technique called The Ultimate Breast LiftTM. This technique reshapes your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevates them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying muscle relieving neck, back or shoulder pain. This will allow you to achieve what size you desire without undergoing excessive reduction to eliminate pain, avoids the ugly vertical scars of the lollipop or anchor shaped incisions, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. I do not recommend the Wise pattern (developed in 1956) since it results in ugly vertical scars, nipple numbness and the inability to breast feed. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Large pendulous breasts Large pendulous breast that cause functional issues such as neck pain, as well as social issues can be addressed with a breast reduction. The procedure will achieve the cup size you desire as well as achieve a breast lift to create a shapely breast mound that is in proportion with your body.Once you have decided this is procedure you are considering you need an expert opinion and I suggest talking to a Plastic Surgeon about the pros and cons of the procedure, From there you can consider if the procedure is for you.I hope that is of some help and best of luckJeremy Hunt

Answer: My breasts are too large and very pendulous. What should I do? Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your description, you may be an excellent candidate for breast reduction/lifting surgery. The best course of action would be to seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons who can demonstrate significant experience helping patients in your situation. Ask to see lots of examples of the plastic surgeons' work and preferably communicate with other patients who have had similar procedures performed. Make sure that you communicate your personal concerns/goals/life circumstances carefully. During the consultation process you will learn about surgical options, pros/cons of surgery, potential risks/complications associated with the surgical options and other considerations such as timing of surgery in your specific case. I hope this, and the attached link, helps.

Answer: Breast Reduction is Relief According to your symptoms and photos you are a great candidate for a breast reduction. Part of a breast reduction is the lifting of the breasts so it is not considered a separate procedure. Discuss your goals with a board certified plastic surgeon and come up with a reduction plan that will work for you. According to your desired size you can remove a little breast or a lot depending on the final size goal.Best WishesDr. Peterson
