I have breast reduction surgery in plain for next week (25.2). Yesterday I had my blood work done . Everything is OK exept the Fibrinogen . Its value is 5 ( normal form 1.8-4). My PS told me to decide on my own to do or not to do the surgery because of the trombosis risk. The doctor on transfusiology told me that this value of Fibrinogen is not a problem and that I can go to sugery without problems. I don't know what to do ....
