Hi, I've done ba 7 weeks ago. Im concerned cause they are still noticeably hard and I think they can't get very much softer to feel natural PLUS a big issue- the shape- they are pyramid like, like my original breast and I don't like that!I wanted round breasts and I put the implant to achieve that and fullness, now I've got fullness but they are not round.I'm so disappointed.Other girls have round breasts and me,can't even buy a lacey bra I always wanted cause the shape is just ugly.

Answer: 7 wks post breast augmentation At 7 weeks it is common to have swelling. It can take several months for the breasts to have a more natural appearance. Good luck.

Answer: Disappointed in shape It can take three (even up to six) months for you to see the final result from breast augmentation. During this time, the implants should "settle" and become softer. Having said that, there are many factors that can leave you with results that you may not have expected. Was the implant placed under or on top of the muscle? Silicone or saline? Round or shaped, smooth or textured? Most important may be your pre-op anatomy and pre-op breast shape. You say that your breast shape is "like your original breasts." The breast tissue overlying the implant can have a significant effect on the final outcome.I would discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon, and also have some patience until they settle completely. Don't rush into any "revisional" surgery yet -- Sometimes that can make things worse. Open and honest discussion of your concerns should be had.
