I always heard that right after surgery the breasts are very swollen and look much bigger than they will be once swelling goes down. Even with swelling my breasts don't look as big as I wanted. I know it may take time for shape to be right. Should I be so concerned about the size? I am so worried that they will be too small. I would really appreciate any advice.

Answer: Worried! Breasts look small 2 days post-op augmentation? It's much too early to worry about size or shape 2 days post-op. Your breasts will change over the next few months. Yes, as the swelling goes down, your breasts may be somewhat smaller but keep in mind that you are swollen all around your breasts so that's why it may seem that your breasts aren't projecting as much when you look down. Try to be patient and give it 3-6 months for everything to settle and re-evaluate then. If you are still unhappy with the size, that would be a good time to discuss your options with your surgeon.
