I would discuss this with your PS as he/she may have a policy to delay the surgery until the infection has resolved. Performing surgery on a patient with an existing infection can increase the risk of an infection developing at the surgical site.

It seems to be acceptable to plan elective surgery like BBL 3 months or longer after COVID infection. Problem arises with possible anesthesia related lung complications, increased risks of blood clothing and number currently unknown factors. Hope this helps. Good luck.
