Although it is recommended to have treatments within a 6-8 weeks, that isn't a steadfast rule. Many of my patients have waited 6-8 months and had no issues at all. Good luck!
Great question! Kybella is a great treatment option for submental fullness. Many patients need a few treatments separated by about 6 weeks to achieve desired results. Spacing treatments out further than 6 weeks should not make your treatment less effective, it simply means that it would take longer for you to see the final results if additional treatments are needed. Also, many people report that subsequent treatments have less post-treatment swelling, and they feel socially presentable much more quickly. Best of luck with your treatments! Kind regards, Dr. Mehta
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. If timing is an issue for your subsequent treatments you can wait more than 4-6 weeks to obtain your second or third treatment. If however you are happy with your results following your first session you need not pursue a second or third. Hope that this helps.
Thank you for your question! Kybella works by dissolving fat underneath the chin and jawline. As the fat dissolves, these areas will tighten. Typically you will need 2-3 treatments for full effect, and these can be spaced at least 6 weeks apart. If you wait longer than this time period, you shouldn't have any detrimental effects for your 2nd and/or 3rd treatments. Be sure to discuss your question with your surgeon/injector as well. I hope that this helps!-David Gilpin
Hi, I just added a link that might be helpful...Hi. Each time you get injected, you will remove some fat-in that sense, Kybella works regardless of retreatment. However, if you have more fat to remove and you stop at one treatment, you likely will not see much reshaping or improvement. Your practioner has provided a recommendation, likely of a series, based upon the amount of fat/shaping you need. Waiting for symptoms to resolve is a personal preference and will have minimal impact on your final outcome-just how long it takes to get there. Good luck!
It needs a series of treatments to get the best outcome however, it will build on itself over time if you do treatments weeks apart. Best, Dr. Emer.
The company that makes Kybella recommends waiting up to 3 months between injections. If you have achieved the result you want at that point, no need to do additional injections.
Thank you for your question! Kybella sometimes works right after the first treatment. You may discontinue your treatments when you attained desired results and you may make longer intervals between your treatments, If would not affect the end result. The end result does depend on the number of treatments you had, with chances of better outcome with more treatments. Best f luck!

You should see improvement after your first treatment. If you are happy with your results then you don't need to get a second treatment. Most patients need more than one but every individual is different. Also, there is no hard and fast rule about spacing them 6 weeks apart. You definitely want to wait until all of your swelling has subsided and for some patients, that take longer than 6 weeks. Hope this helps.Kindly,Kouros Azar

Hello - and thank you for your question! It totally depends on the size of syringe used. A vial of Kybella (which typically costs between $600 and $800) contains 2.2 cc of fluid. If your injector was using a 1 cc syringe, there would be two full syringes per vial. However - if they...
