Stretch marks are rare after any augmentation- breast or buttock, but can occur. If they are red they can be treated with laser treatments or microneedling. Check in with your board certified plastic surgeon and get their opinion

Thank you for your question.It is unusual to have stretch marks unless you had a very large augmentation. The stretch marks are still red and will respond to laser treatments. Please talk to your Plastic Surgeon who can help you with minimizing the stretch marks. All The Best !

Thank you for posting. My patients usually do not experience stretch marks after buttock implant procedure. This isn't typical post operatively. If stretchmarks are present preoperatively they can become more prominent after the area is enlarged. Be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this procedure and has an extensive before and after gallery.
