My left ear is blocked after face lift. Is this normal?

I had a face lift 5 days ago and woke up with my left ear blocked what could cause this? Is this something that will go away after time? Does this happen often with facelift?

Thank you for your question. I don't ever guarantee that facelifting improves nasolabial folds. In fact, some facelift techniques can make it worse. I had a full facelift May 4 of this year. My eyes still won't close all the way. How long will it take for the eyelids to close?

I'm not sure why facelift would create blinking problems if that was the only procedure you had. Nevertheless, the motor nerves to the eyelid are very sensitive and sometimes it take several weeks for normal blinking to recover.

A chin implant looks like it could help along with fillers but I need to see more views. A rhinoplasty won't make it look wider.

With repeat facelift surgery, there is often less excess skin to remove which limits scar placement. At this point, no adjustments to the scar placement can be made. I think that you need to allow more time for healing and continue to follow up with your surgeon.
