Is there something I can do to make my face wider? (photo)

Just feel like my face is a little bit too long and would like it to look shorter and rounder like in my photoshoped version. Would a simple nose job help to make my face look bigger?

Thereis no significant downside to having your eyelid surgery prior to yourfacelift. Having two different recovery time may become an issue for people whoare working and do not have much of free time for recovery. Most of the timethese two procedures are combined.

It is normal to have numbness on your face after a facelift.  Although this shouldn't affect your ability to shave, if you want to be safe, using an electric shaver is an option.Sensory nerves tend to start working again after a few weeks, although sometimes it can take much longer.

If you have had significant weight loss, you have also lost the fat in your face.  So you would most likely benefit from a fat transfer.  You may also have laxity of the skin and may also need to do some sort of a face and or eyelid surgery.

Specific instructions about drive should come from your own plastic surgeon. In my practice I permit patients to drive as soon as they feel I can do so safely.

Generally speaking, it can take 6 to 12 months to completely heal after a facelift procedure. I would strongly recommend speaking with your surgeon or his/her clinical team to discuss your concerns further.
