Would filler work or do I need surgery?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Dent in nose I would have to see this in person but you can consider 2 options. You can consider doing a filler like Restylane in the nose to help raise the indentation. It would be considered off label but it may raise the indent to make it smoother. It will last 6-12 months before you would have to repeat the procedure to maintain the improvement. You can also consider a laser resurfacing treatment like a CO2 laser which may improve the collagen which could help to make it look smoother. Sometimes we also combine the 2 to provide more optimal results. I hope that helps.

Answer: Subcision + Filler Can Elevate & Smooth A Dent On The Nose Subcision, a relatively inexpensive, safe and effective modality that I have been performing for nearly three decades, is used to elevate and smooth all kinds of indented scars and indentations. The effect can be enhanced by the use of an appropriate filler. The entire procedure, in experienced hands, should take no more than about five minutes to perform and engenders little to no significant downtime. Hope this helps. Make sure to consult and experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: Nasal Depression Your picture is not that clear. I cannot see the extent of the depression. Conceptually, yes you can have a depression corrected with a filler. You would really be best served with a face to face consultation. This would allow for the palpation of the skin and a direct examination of the depression. A good depends on the cause of the depression. You would also need to balance out if if want a permanent improvement. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Michael Kulick MD ASAPS, ASPS member San Francisco Ca.

Answer: Treatment of Nasal "Dent" You did not say what caused the 'dent" but it appears to be something that could be treated well with a filler. Make sure you see a plastic surgeon who is experienced in rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) as well as fillers.
