I’m desperate to erase the Deep lines around my mouth. I’ve never smoked, but have noticed that my top lip moves an awful lot when I speak and that my lips purse often when speaking which I think, along with getting older, has caused these lines. I’ve now been to 3 different aesthetic's practitioners who have all recommended different procedures for getting rid of them leaving me utterly baffled! Please help, how would you treat them?

This treatment would help to weaken the muscle that is causing the lines and generally helps to smooth them out. The effect would be temporary though and you would need to repeat the injections to maintain the result.

A hyaluronic acid filler like Belotero injected very superficially can fill the depressions and give a smoother look. For collagen stimulation I recommend microneedling with or without PRP and radiofrequency. Smooth PDO threads are another option. Fortunately, there are many ways to approach this concern that yield very satisfactory results.
