Mini thigh lift recovery time

Question

What is the recovery time typically like for a mini thigh lift? Is it less than for a medial thigh lift or similar? For a job where I need to be semi-active (lots of walking/standing, some bending and lifting but not very heavy), how much time off could I expect to need following a mini thigh lift?

Thank you for your question regarding recovery time after a mini thigh lift. A mini thigh lift typically has a shorter recovery period compared to a full medial thigh lift since it addresses only the upper inner thigh and involves a smaller incision. Most patients can resume light activities and return to desk jobs within 7–10 days. However, for a job requiring semi-active duties like walking, standing, bending, or lifting, you may need closer to 2–3 weeks off work to ensure proper healing.

You’ll also need to limit strenuous activities, heavy lifting, and prolonged standing for at least 4–6 weeks. Wearing compression garments as directed will help minimize swelling and support healing. Be sure to discuss your specific work demands with your surgeon so they can provide a more personalized timeline.

Thank you for your question.After Inner thigh lifting surgery regardless of the incision length or type it takes 3-4 weeks to recover. You can walk and you have to after 2 weeks, and must avoid lifting heavy loads for 3-4 weeks. If you are not a heavy worker approximately minimum 15-20 days of is needed.
