I had a crescent thigh lift 10 mo ago by an excellent surgeon who did a fantastic job with my abdominoplasty 25 year ago. Cosmetic results of thighs and labia look fine, normal with legs together, but with wide legs or lithotomy position there is spreading to the point that with very wide legged positions (as in yoga) it feels like my internal vaginal walls are spreading (this is affecting my intimate life). Scar is also a bit lower than I expected. Surgeon is sympathetic and listens to me, says he is willing to revise, but is not sure it will help. This is pretty much ruining my life -- I am an avid yogi and was a yoga instructor before this surgery, and had to stop due to having fabric all inside of my labia constantly. Swimming is off the table because my labia spread outside of the crotch of my swimsuit, and I can feel the water at my introitus, which is bizarre. Sitting on a bike seat of any kind is torture since my labia spread apart at the slightest provocation and I am essentially putting pressure on the inside of my vagina. I also have developed chafing and discomfort much of the time. Surgeon says he anchored everything to deep fascia and bone and he 'doesn't know why this is happening'. I can pull the skin in a tiny bit and hold it there with my hands, and it improves the spreading greatly, so I don't know if that means anything.
