I got lip filler three months ago in my lips and the area surrounding my mouth as I was told it would help balance everything out. I think it looks off, but am nervous about the enzyme to dissolve. Should I wait for it to dissolve on it’s own or is this a poor result? I believe the product was restylane. Thank you.
Answer: Lip filler migration Hi @Exciting758! It appears that you may have migration and asymmetry. It is a personal choice if you want to wait or you can go back to your practitioner and dissolve the product with Hylenex. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Should the filler be dissolved with an enzyme or be left alone until it dissolves on its own? Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. The lips look slightly unusual. If this significantly bothers you, then have the filler dissolved. If it’s not too noticeable to you, then let it resolve on its own. See an expert injector for future treatments. Good luck,

Answer: Dissolving lip filler Hi there! Thanks for your photos. It does look as if there is some asymmetry and slight migration of product above the border of your upper lip. I would recommend getting the filler dissolved. Even though its been 3 months since your treatment, it may take 3-6 more months for Restylane to dissolve. I would recommend going back to your injector to discuss your concerns; including your apprehension regarding hyaluronidase. Most injectors will not charge for dissolving filler they placed. Good Luck!

Answer: Lip filler "looks off" From the photos that you submitted (and again no accurate or precise diagnosis or recommendation should be made without a thorough examination and discussion "in-person,") your lips appear quite full but also quite nice in my opinion. There appears to be a small scar or dense dermal attachment that creates very slight asymmetry, but be reassured that your lips look quite good.

Answer: Lip, fillers Your upper lip could have been done better, but you can leave it alone and simply let the filler slowly dissolve. For a better balance you need to enlarge the lower lip so I would go to reputable PS and have a small amount of filler, like 1/ 3 of a cc and I think you’ll be very happy. I hope this helps. and good luck from New York city Plastic Surgery.
