Will dissolving under eye filler also remove cheek filler?

Hi @Rljm2795! This is an excellent question. The tear trough is very close to the cheek so there is a chance that dissolving the tear trough area can possibly dissolve the cheek filler because the dissolving enzyme can spread.

Under eye filler is close to the cheek and so dissolving under eye filler can possibly dissolve cheek filler because the hyaluronidase enzyme can spread.

First off, I would give a little bit more time and see how it works out with the lower eyelid filler. I personally do not approve of hyaluronic acid fillers being placed in the lower eyelid area because in the majority of patients it does become a problem overtime or in the very beginning. Once the hyaluronidase is used in the lower eyelids, it may negatively affect the filler in the cheek area. In my opinion, I always recommend that the patients have fat grafting done into the lower eyelid area as well as the cheeks. And as long as the procedure is being done by a plastic surgeon with a great deal of experience in fat grafting techniques, especially in the face, the results should be extremely natural and permanent.
